The 3/8" x 50ft winch rope extension is designed to provide extra length when your vehicle winch doesn't have the length to quite reach the vehicle you are recovering, allowing you to get in the same position as the one you are trying to recover. Keep a reasonable length on your drum, and when needed, pull out the extension and get after it.

Made from 12 strands of braided ultra-high molecular weight polyethylene, this rope has a max breaking strength of 26,650lbs, making it an extremely high-strength, low-stretch rope (less than 5%) that offers high abrasion resistance and great tensile strength. Each synthetic rope is coated in UV-resistant polyester to protect the fibers from sun exposure. Synthetic winch rope is resistant to damage from most oils and chemicals and does not corrode like steel cable.

Our UHMWPE-made winch ropes are lighter than equivalent steel cable, making them a much safer option. They won't develop the burrs that can occur on steel cable, making them safer to handle without gloves. Synthetic line also has the advantage of floating, which could make a recovery in a mud hole or body of water easier.
